RHO Market Takes Extra Precautions

Dear RHO Customers,

The RHO Market is prepared for the disruptions created by the coronavirus outbreak. Please know that we are taking extra precautions to protect the health of our customers and staff. There is no better time to buy fresh and local! All products on the RHO Market are produced within 100 miles of Tallahassee. Less steps in the chain from farm to your table is a good thing always, but especially now! While we don’t carry toilet paper and sanitizer, ya’ll know the value of good old soap and we have soap as well as the usual array of great fruits and veggies, meats and cheeses, honey and baked goods, plants and herbs, etc!

We are encouraging our producers to anticipate larger demand this week and we’ll be prepared on market day as well. A reminder that we do offer home delivery. For pickups at the Market, we’ll be reducing contact by assembling your orders in the building and delivering them to you on the sidewalk. Market hub pickups will also be in disposable bags, so while we love recycling and reusing, right now we encourage you to leave those reusable bags at home. For hub and home deliveries, we are sanitizing the reusable RHO Market bags, and yes, we still need them back.

Be well! Eat healthy!

Sincerely,

Red Hills Small Farm Alliance Board of Directors
