What to Bring: Pen and paper if you like, but there will be handouts

Can’t get more local than your own backyard! At this workshop, learn how to start a raised bed vegetable garden with UF/IFAS Extension Agents Mark Tancig and Molly Jameson. Topics will include choosing the best location for your raised bed, basics of irrigation, planting dates and plant spacing, the difference between treated and untreated lumber, how much and what type of soil to use, and tips for growing vegetables.
